What you will need:

  • 1 sheet of mdf or 3/4in plywood
  • 2 hinges
  • 1 hasp with lock
  • 1 12in blacklight w/ ballast
  • Granite paint
  • Wildfire blacklight paint

This was the first year I decided to add a donation box to our cemetery. I wasn't really excited about asking for money, nor did I think anyone would donate, but at the end of the night I was glad I did. I highly recommend adding one of these to your haunt not for financial reasons, but when you see that all your efforts were appreciated enough that people donated their own money, it makes you feel that your hard work wasn't just for your own pleasure. Obviously it won't pay for everything, but when people add notes of appreciation with their money, it makes it all worth while(gets your mind off the reality of having to clean up).
